BETHANY KRISTIANSEN
Bethany is a practicing holistic esthetician and facial massage specialist in Austin, TX. She has been a licensed instructor for almost 15 years and now focuses her teaching on trauma-informed practices.
Bethany is your main host, planner and facial massage educator for the retreat.
AMANDA GONZALES
Amanda is a 20+ year veteran of the beauty industry and practicing sound healer in Austin, TX. Her specialty is creating nourishing sound experiences focused on regulating the nervous system and shifting into theta brainwave states.
Amanda teaches our Intro to Sound Healing certification.
Intro to Sound Healing:
Explore multiple instruments and techniques through an immersive healing lab, where you will give and receive sound healing. You will learn to curate healing experiences that focus on nervous system regulation during or in addition to your facial services from an experienced sound bath practitioner + mentor.

Nervous System-Focused Facial Massage Certifications:
Our retreat facial massage certifications are focused on energy work and communicating safety to the nervous system. They are designed to facilitate a deeper understanding of how to blend energetics with massage to help create unique experiences, as well as using knowledge of the nervous system to ground and anchor yourself.
We build on each skill by incorporating what we learned the day before - for example, incorporating sound healing during our facial massage trainings.

The goal is to provide healing experiences for you along with the practical skills to integrate them into your treatments, if you wish.
We will continue offering Intro to Sound Healing on Wednesday but may change the certifications offered Thurday and Friday. They will be facial massage-focused.
